a sweet escape in the city
spacious room large tub helpful staff perfect location
the room was spacious and immaculate. i especially enjoyed the large tub, it was very nice after long walks. the staff were helpful and always available! the location was perfect, close to the metro, it was so easy to get around.
the hotel gym was a bit small, though adequate it has limited equipment, maybe adding a few extra machines would improve it.

great location excellent breakfast spacious room
I chose the Art Deco King Room Welcome Fruit & Snacks & Beer 1 per up. the location is super great, just one block off Nanjing Street. this makes it surprisingly quiet but close to shopping and restaurants. the breakfast was excellent. It has a buffet and items to order!
the carpets in the room look a bit used, with minor stains.

excellent location and service
excellent location metro station larger room extra cost
The location is excellent. It is close to shopping areas without the noise. a metro station entrance is just across the street. the staff was very kind and were pretty good in assisting me. i received an upgrade to a larger room at no extra cost. the room was spacious (it exceeded my expectations for asia).
i found that the air in the room was quite dry. it did impact my breathing throughout my stay, a bit uncomfortable. i think adding room service would improve the experience even more.

The front desk offered efficient and polite assistance throughout my stay. housekeeping maintained cleanliness to a high standard. They ensured a very comfortable environment. the restaurant staff provided great service, contributing to an enjoyable dining experience.

Fantastic Hotel-Prime Location!
perfect location thick curtains plenty water
The location was amazing! It is super close to People's Square Station! The comfortable room had beds and thick curtains that ensured a great sleep. They provided plenty of water! I loved it!
The doorman offered to call a taxi but asked for an inflated fare, that I found a bit off-putting.
